DKNY perfume is a popular and exciting scent that was designed by Donna Karan.  This fragrance was launched in 2000 which was the third scent created by her.

Donna Karan says "everything I do is a matter of heart, body, and soul."  Her company was founded in 1984 and she credits her feminine instincts for the success of the company.

Before DKNY perfume, Karan had launched three other successful perfumes.  In 1992 her first scent, Donna Karan for women, was introduced to the public.  It's scent was centered around a floral fragrance.  In 1994, DKNY perfumes launched the Cashmere Mist which is a fresh and floral scent meant to capture the quality of cashmere.  In 1996 her fragrance Chaos by Donna Karan was created.  It's design was to give a calming and soothing effect.  In 2002 Black Cashmere was produced with a soft, aromatic scent.  This was the core of the Donna Karan perfume line and what an exquisite line it is!

Karan's company is celebrating it's 20th anniversary.  It was the fall of 1985 when the first DKNY collection came out.  Since then, the CFDA has saluted Karan seven times, including this year's Lifetime Achievement award.  What an exciting time for Karan and her top line DKNY perfumes.
